I totally agree with you it does not even look real and plus they would probally not even let people touch it if it was real because it would be worth a lot of money.

Exactly. That thing dosnt even look real. It just looks like a big green rock. They cant try & say its real because that would be ALOT of money if it was real & nobody would beable to touch it. If it was real someone wouldve bought that if it wa on sale.

''It’s big. It’s green. It’s oval. It weighs 25 pounds. Is it a watermelon? No, it’s an emerald! In fact, some say, it’s the world’s biggest emerald—and it’s worth at least 190,000 ripe melons, give or take a few.'' Its humungus!

Im not too sure but I remember reading about this a couple days ago about how they think it could still be real because they have no REAL proof of it being fake and there also thinking that if it is real there bidding like 190,000 dollars for it.

"This giant gem may bring in more than $1 million at auction—although some think it’s a fake"
I think i was right but the story does not say it is real or fake that is the problem.

On the other hand if it was fake I would buy it because it would be affordable and big even though its fake. Aaryn I know that is kinda dum that they do not tell you if it is fake or real.
